On Saturday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on an elephant and jeep safari at the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve in Assam. He started his adventure with an elephant safari in the park’s Mihimukh region in the Central Kohora Range, and then he went on a car safari in the same area. Senior forest officials and park director Sonali Ghosh accompanied the prime minister.
“I visited the Kaziranga National Park in Assam this morning. This UNESCO World Heritage site, which is surrounded by lush greenery, is endowed with a rich range of flora and fauna, which includes the magnificent one-horned rhinoceros,” PM Modi wrote on X.
